A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Heart, Planning, and Balance Behind Thermal Imaging Services
Most people see the final result: a posted clinic date, an open appointment calendar, and a fully prepared thermography setup waiting for them in Tyler, Houston, College Station, or any of my many Texas and Louisiana locations.
But what they don’t see is the thoughtful, layered process that goes into planning each month of mobile clinics. Behind the scenes, there’s a blend of organization, logistics, family balance, and a whole lot of love for the work I do and the communities I serve.
Here’s a peek into how I plan each location—months in advance—so everything runs smoothly and each client receives the best experience possible.
1. It Starts with My Calendar (and My Family)
Before I begin scheduling clinics, I look at the big picture:
- Holidays
- School schedules in the areas I serve
- Family events
- Time with my grandsons
- Visits to my mother
- My own rest and recharge time
Balancing my business with my life is important to me—and when my life is in balance, I show up as the best version of “Angel the Thermography Lady” for my clients.
2. Pet Sitter Coordination — The Step Most Don’t Realize
Since I travel so much, pet care is a huge part of the planning process. Before confirming any location, I reach out to the wonderful options I have for pet sitters to
make sure they’re available.
It may seem small, but this step is crucial—without reliable care at home, I can’t confidently travel and serve multiple cities.
3. Checking Each Office for Availability
Next, I contact the hosting clinics across my regions. Every office has its own schedule, workshops, provider availability, and events, so I make sure:
- The space is open
- The day flows well for both teams
- The timing works for client traffic in that area
This ensures my pop-up clinics blend seamlessly into each location’s routine.
4. Securing Lodging or a “Bunk Space”
Once dates and locations line up, I find a comfortable place to stay during each trip. Whether it’s a local Airbnb, a small rental, or a guest space near the clinic, this step makes long travel days and early morning appointments much easier.
5. Working 3–4 Months Ahead… and Already Planning for 2026
As my business grows, so does the need for advanced planning. I’m now working several months ahead—and already organizing dates for 2026—so clients have plenty of time to secure the appointments they want, when and where they need them.
Why I Share This
Because this isn’t just a business—it’s a calling. Every step of this planning process is driven by care: for my clients, my family, my pets, and the quality of service I provide.
Behind every clinic day, there’s a whole lot of heart… and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
